hello everyone. i haven't been on this in a while, but i do have a very important announcement:

we're having a keg or two, music, and hopefully dancing and lots of fun. thanks for everyone who came to the last one a couple of months ago. i'm not sure if anything's going on this friday, but try to make it out here. it's in honor of my roommate sarah, a belated birthday party. also, rachel, we can extend your birthday till the weekend.

i just got home from downtown. we hungout at DT's which is always a good time. i should have been writing my script for a docunmentary thing, but i'll take care of that tomorrow. i just can't focus on school this week. i'm ready for boulder. two more days and i'm out of here.

i cut adam's hair today. i'm definetaly no pro, but i did the best i could. i love my roommates...they tolerate my forgetfulness and screwups. sarah and alyson are the best and i can't wait to spend a week with them across the country, far away from here. i love athens but it'll be nice to have a break.

i finally got a job...starting training tomorrow as a breadshaper. a bonus to this job is getting free delicious bread from big city. and i also get to work with my sister...we'll see how that goes. good night.

this weekend wasn't that interesting. no valentine for me, just hungout with my beautiful roommate sarah. i did a lot of laying around on the comfy couch..watched some "makeout movies" (as the FX channel quotes it) saturday. no makeouts though. i'm sorry, but what couple is staying home on a sat afternoon making out to cheesy movies on FX? i did get to watch Romeo and Juliet which i haven't seen in a while. i do love claire danes. i've been watching a lot of her lately.

ugh. i drank a lot this weekend. i need to stop spending money on drinks...PBR and gin and tonics in particular. i did save money at DT's though...thank you mike.

i wanted to get burger and a beer at clocked last night--i haven't done that yet. i had no car, so i decided to have my own morningstar burger and a highlife at home instead. i was pleased. right now i'm trying to find places to stay in boulder for spring break. i'm getting really excited to see my brother and hangout in CO.

i'm starving! i need to go get food and then go to my production class. i love the word 'harbor' sung in songs.

i actually got out of bed early enough to shower before class today. i have a feeling i'm the dirty girl in my MWF classes. 11:15 isn't that early, but hey, 20 minutes extra for sleeping is nice too. my 2:30 was cancelled. too bad i didn't know until i showed up. now i have time to type up my report all day in the learning center. instead i'm writing nonsense in this thing. i just read today in the flagpole about a jazz musician: dave douglas. apparently he's a leading man in the jazz scene and he's won several awards in the genre. i'm interested...he's playing monday at nuci's space. it's a little pricy ($15), but how many times does good true jazz come through athens. do all the profits of nuci's space go to charity?

still unemployed. probably because i haven't been looking. eh. school, projects, studying...can't wait until friday.

last night my sister and i went to atlanta to meet our mom at the fox theatre. we saw the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre (www.alvinailey.org) perform. it was amazing. there were four different pieces in the performance with different themes, each equally impressive. i couldn't believe some of their steps and the movements they were performing with their bodies. it's breathtaking how beautiful movements of the body are. i miss dance so much. it used to be my life. watching last night made me realize that i want to be a part of something...dance, performing, i dont know. it also makes me want to workout and go running more because they were all ripped and extremely flexible with gorgeous bodies.

what's going on this weekend? i don't know. i know i'll go to DT's to see Robert. hmmm...i guess i'll play it by ear. lots and lots of school work to be done at some point.

i slept with one of my dogs from home last night...ella. my sister brought her up from home this week. it was so nice and comforting. she curled up in my chest and barely moved all night. we need a pet for our house. they always brighten my day. alright, should be heading to class soon.

i know i've already posted about this, but as a reminder...party at my house tonight! i know there's a we vs the shark show tonight, but after that you can move the party over to chase street. hope to see you guys there. bring whoever you want. free beer and fun.--sabrina

i just wanted to let everyone know that my roommates and i are having a party this friday night (jan 30th) at our house. it's a birthday party for alyson's 21st. we're going to have a keg and some liquor so feel free to invite any of your friends. partying will begin around 10:30/11pm. if you don't know where i live:

coming from downtown on broad street head towards milledge. take a right onto chase street which is the first street after milledge and the varsity. our house is on the first block after hancock ave. on the right...380 Chase Street (it's a white house with tan trim and front porch).

ah...it's been one of those not so good days. it's nothing that went wrong or that anyone said, i'm just blue. so here i am sitting in my basement in my parents house in marietta. boring...i was supposed to come back to athens today (my sister and i went to atlanta this morning. i saw my friends ice sculpture show and she worked), but my sister doesn't get off work until 10pm and then i wouldn't be back until at least midnight. i know in athens that's party time, but it seems kind of late. who knows, maybe we''ll drive back tonight. all i want to do right now is be with my friends and have a good time, but i'm stuck here. it's always good to see the parents, but when you know there is fun stuff going on in athens it puts a damper on things. i got to see my dogs though! thats probably the best part of coming home--lucy and ella. i think i'll end up watching one of my parents' woody allen movies. i always enjoy that. i wonder who is hosting SNL tonight. i hope everyone has fun tonight. for those of you partying--have one for me and be extra sleazy. wow, i can babble.
